GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV)-A Longview woman on probation after stealing $20,000 worth of Christmas gifts that were meant for foster children has no been accused of shoplifting.
According to the Associated Press, 48-year-old Sarah Marie Adams was arrested Monday on charges of shoplifting $170 worth of items. She was taken to the Gregg County Jail, where she remained Wednesday afternoon. Her bond has been set at $500.
Adams' charge of shoplifting is a violation of her parole and she could now face up to 10 years in prison.
In Fall 2012, Adams was sentenced to eight years in prison for the theft of Christmas gifts from Home Climate Storage in Longview. Donations at that location belonged to the Gregg County Child Welfare Board.
